X-Aviation, Maxx-XP and Sundog Software has updated SkyMaxx Pro to version 4.7. As alluded in our previous article about FS Global Real Weather, the biggest new feature that comes from the update is the new integration with the aforementioned weather engine. Although quoted as providing “more accurate cloud types” when used with FSGRW, it does also inject with other weather engines such as Active Sky XP – basically anything that works with METAR.rwx files.
Other new features include improved cloud visuals and increased maximum draw area. Virtual Reality users will also be thrilled to hear this update include the initial VR support and other various performance improvements & bug fixes.
The update is free of charge for users. You simply need to log in and re-download the original installation to and re-install. If you are yet to own the product, you can purchase via X-Aviation for $39.95.
