Over on their Facebook page, Skyline Simulations has posted more previews of their first aircraft project, the Bombardier Dash 8 Q100/Q200/Q300 for X-Plane.
The work in progress shots shows rendered overhead panels of the short-range turboprop aircraft. The Bombardier Dash 8 series first flew in 1983 under the development of Canadair. Following the sale to Boeing and then to Bombardier, the original Q100, Q200 and Q300 were produced until 2009 leaving the popular Q400 still in production.
In their original post, Skyline Simulations mentioned that the aircraft that they will release will include the Q100, Q200 and Q300 variants with both clean and dirty textures for each model, take a look at an example of this difference in the radio panels below. The developer has also commented that this will be of ‘study level’ featuring accurate flight dynamics and system simulation including a custom FMS.
The development is in early stages but remains a focus for the team alongside producing scenery for X-Plane and P3D. To keep up with the developments, keep an eye on the Skyline Simulations Facebook page.
