SimWorks Studios has been hard at work iterating on their Kodiak, originally released for MSFS 2020, to take advantage of MSFS 2024. SWS announced on their Facebook page that the Kodiak 100 (wheels and amphibian variants) will be made available on MSFS 2024 on March 27th.
The MSFS 2024 version is not a simple copy-paste. They expanded the G1000 suite to include new features that are found in the real Kodiak (such as accurate Weight & Balance), rewrote the electrical system (including working circuit breakers), reworked the Environmental Control System, added Smart AutoStart allowing the turbine engine to be started while avoiding a dreaded hot-start, and made many visual refinements including better lighting and LOD behavior. SWS have also improved on the original 2020 version with a newly rebuilt engine area including the PT5 engine and associated components, modeled individually, to improve visual fidelity and performance
In addition to the welcomed improvements listed above, additional enhancements have been made to support native MSFS 2024 features such as visual passengers, variant-based loading configurations, dynamic dirt, walkaround capability, and career mode compatibility.

The main package will be priced at €35 ($40.24 USD or £30.23) on the SimWorks Studios store which includes both the wheels and amphibian versions. Additionally, they will be released on the Microsoft Marketplace for $40 USD. Finally, an amphibian-only version will be made available for €5 more than the previous 2020 version. For owners of the original Kodiak looking for an upgrade, there’s a discounted upgrade option expected to be within €15-20.
