SimNord Gives Update on Copenhagen Airport for MSFS

Scenery developer SimNord, previously known as Vidan Designs, has taken to social media to provide an update on their upcoming Copenhagen International Airport (ICAO: EKCH) scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

In a post written in Danish, which FSElite has translated online, SimNord states that work is still progressing on the Copenhagen project, with a lot of building models having been already completed. Kastrup’s Terminal 3 has received particular attention, including the landside area around it.

The post reveals that the project had been hoped to have been completed by spring of 2024 but says ‘I’ve got to admit, it’s going to be a while.’ A collection of screenshots demonstrate the progress made of the terminal buildings, revealing the level of detail SimNord are using in the project.

Earlier in April, SimNord posted an update which included screenshots of the control tower at Denmark’s biggest international airport, and admitted that ‘there is still a long way to go’. Despite their being no release date at the moment, it’s clear to see this is one scenery to keep our eye on. FSElite will bring you the latest news when it comes.
