X-Plane developer SimCoders has released their Reality Expansion Pack 4 for X-Plane 10 and 11.
The recent update is free for all current users, and is compatible with all current Reality Expansion Pack (REP) planes.
The biggest feature addition in this new update is the economy system. This system is designed to reward both flight time and landings with ‘virtual dollars’ that can be stored in your REP bank account. The dollars can then be spent on fuel, maintenance, and repairs for your REP aircraft. This economy system allows the flexibility to restart from scratch with new airplanes, and can also be reset at any time.
The REP is an add-on for X-Plane 10 and 11 that enhances aspects of the simulator including flight and ground dynamics, the default piston engine, the electrical system, and the landing gear. The REP also adds real-world physics, new stereo sounds, and extra 3D elements. Along with these additions, the system provides an enhanced damage system, a maintenance hangar, and interactive ground checks.
Users can get the free update by downloading their REP planes from the Xplane.org store again or by using the SkunkCrafts updater. New users can purchase the Reality Expansion Pack for select airplanes at the Xplane.org store.
