Simbrief Update – Alternate Airports Supported

There are a lot of flight planning software out there, but one of them that a lot of us use, Simbrief, has been updated today.

The updated version now supports several alternate airports when doing your flight planning. In total, you can set four alternates. On top of that, you can also get correct flight routes to each alternate airport. This can be viewed from the new “Alternate Airports” page in the Dispatch Options section.

During the flight planning Simbrief will automatically give you four different suitable alternates as before. Now though it’s possible to see it all on the”Alternate Airports” page. There you can also change different parameters. If you want to avoid a specific alternate airport then you can do that as well.

Right now only LIDO layout can preview multiple alternates and routes. Later on more layouts will be supported.

To learn more go to Simbrief’s website and Facebook.
