Simbrief Update Adds Take-off and Landing Calculations

Simbrief’s latest update adds performance calculations.

Simbrief’s latest update has added the functionality to do performance calculations. Performance calculations are created based on the available aircraft and flight data and are available in a new tab in the Simbrief Dispatcher.

Simbrief’s performance data takes into account multiple factors when performing take-off and landing data. These include variables such as airport altitude, weather conditions, weight restrictions, runway length (including intersections) and minimum climb gradient. Simbrief can also take into account aircraft specific settings, including flap position, anti-ice and bleed settings and derated thrust settings.

Performance Calculations are available right now for all Simbrief users, free of charge.
