Over on Facebook, Simbrief shared an update regarding their ‘Suggested Routes’ functionality. This functionality has been updated with an expandable list of all the suggested routes for your flight. Within this expanded list, you will now be able to see what the source is for your route. The list will also show invalid routes that you can use for reference. Sources for Simbrief routes include FlightAware, UK & Ireland SRD, reported CFMU/IFPS compliant routes, generated SimBrief Route Finder routes and routes previously used by other SimBrief users.
As a reminder, Simbrief also wanted to share some of the updates over the last month, since they sometimes tend to go by a bit unnoticed. Some of the noteworthy updates of the last months include support for complete SID/STAR runway transitions, improved ALT airport selection and planning logic, improved NAT flight routing, zoom-dependant interactive map waypoint labels and multiple choice pop-up for the ‘Find SID/STAR’ tool.
