SimAtlas, a new flight simulation subscription service, has added new developers to its catalogue of scenery available and new freeware to the app. Furthermore, it has announced a new free trial for those wishing to learn more about SimAtlas during the holiday period.
SimAtlas is designed to simplify how flight simulation content is installed and managed. The platform allows add-ons to be enabled with a single click, without the need for manual installation or additional configuration. Updates are handled automatically, and GSX-related files are also installed as part of the process.
Since launching earlier this month, SimAtlas has expanded its catalogue through partnerships with additional payware developers. The platform now includes content from 10 developers, with more than 120 premium add-ons available through the SimAtlas+ subscription. The latest additions to the developer list is Digital Designs and AG Sim.
SimAtlas offers access to a freeware library that does not require a subscription. More than 100 freeware add-ons are available to users with a free account and can be enabled using the same one-click system. The team wants users to get to know how the simple installation process works, and all freeware add-ons are available via the app for free without a subscription.

The 7-day free trial of SimAtlas+ runs until January 4th, during which users can choose when to activate their trial. The SimAtlas+ trial provides temporary access to a library of premium add-ons valued at over US$1,650. This offer sits alongside SimAtlas’ existing launch pricing of US$12 per month for the first two months of a subscription, which is discounted from the regular price.
