Following an extended period of testing and development, Microsoft has confirmed that the long-awaited release of Sim Update 10 is happening on September 21st, 2022.
On social media, the team announced that the update will be pushed out to all users at 08:00am PDT / 15:00z. At this time, you may need to restart your PC or launch your store platform in order to then receive the update itself. You will then need to download and install and once done, you will be flying on Sim Update 10.
The new sim update has been in development for quite some time, with an extensive testing period over the past few months. The update itself promises to bring significant performance improvements, stability for DX12, new features and improved access for aircraft/scenery developers.
Microsoft said, “thank you everyone for your ongoing patience, and thank you to everyone who participated in the SU10 beta!”
