Developer Sierrasim Simulation has previewed El Alto International Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020/2024. Along with new previews, they shared some of the features they have planned for the airport.
El Alto International Airport (SLLP), located just 13 kilometers (8 miles) west of La Paz, Bolivia, sits at 13,325 feet above sea level, making it the highest international airport in the world. Perched on a plateau in the city of El Alto, it offers views of the Andes mountains for that extra challenger. The airport is a major hub for Boliviana de Aviación, offering connections to key domestic destinations like Santa Cruz and Cochabamba, as well as international routes to cities such as Lima, São Paulo, and Miami.
Included features, from what they said so far on social media, include interior modelling, PBR texturing, various airport objects, custom jetways, and night lighting. They said that they will include various LODs to ensure that performance is smooth throughout.
As mentioned, this airport will be coming to both MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024, expectedly as a singular purchase. We will keep you posted on more as it comes.
