MisterX6, the developer behind ShortFinal Design has taken to the X-Plane forum to announce details on upcoming developments to both Salt Lake City, and SFD Global.
Salt Lake City will see an update taking it to version 1.5. Changes include adding PBR ground texturing, rain and snow effects on the ground and added support for SAM to give the airport fully custom jetways. MisterX6 has mentioned that there will be an additional rendition of the terminal currently being constructed. Take a look at the screenshots as well as the provisional changelog below. Salt Lake City is located in Utah in the United States, the airport handles international and domestic flights from airlines such as Delta, American Airlines, Southwest and KLM. You can find Salt Lake City for X-Plane on the X-Plane Store for $24.95.
ShortFinal Design will also be making updates to their newest payware release, SFD Global. SFD Global is a stock texture replacement utility that will inject more realism to your ground textures, mesh and autogen for X-Plane. The update will bring SFD Global to version 1.1 and will look to add inner-city buildings for the Mediterranean region as well as some hotfixes. If you would like to purchase SFD Global, you can find it here for $30.
These updates will be free to existing owners but MisterX6 has not mentioned any specific timeline just yet. Be sure to keep an eye out on the Forum for any further details regarding the updates.
