Shared Flight Released for X-Plane 12

Shared Flight, a new utility for X-Plane 12 offers users the ability to join up and share the workload with their fellow co-pilots, engineers and even passengers to ensure a seamless multi-crew flight simulation experience if you are operating complex airliners or just doing pattern work in something more simplistic.

Users are able to set up flights with little to no network setup through their own servers and intuitive user-interface. Shared Flight also has a growing discord community to help new pilots find more seasoned veterans or just someone else to fly alongside. Shared Flight comes with native SimBrief support which allows users to plan, download and share flight briefing information, FMS files and ATC pre-file links ready to join online networks as a team.

Shared Flight is accessible on a subscription service through three tiers; free, basic or premium subscription levels. Free users can join basic or premium account holders in their aircraft as first officer or passenger with full functionality of the aircraft, access to flight histories and the discord community, as well as more features on the Shared Flight website. Basic users can create flights, be joined by only one free-tier user, as well as the above free tier perks, for $7.99 per month. Premium users have all the previous perks plus the ability to be joined by as many crew and passengers as they wish, along with early access to new features and aircraft all for a reduced price of $12.99, which is down from $14.99.

Shared Flight works through X-Plane 12 plugin which can be downloaded from the Shared Flight website, where you can also subscribe at each level depending on your preference with a cancel anytime policy.
