Seychelles4XPlane Airfields Previews

Developer Maps2Xplane has shared on their website some previews of the airfields of their Seychelles4XPlane scenery that is currently in development. About 3 weeks ago, the team had previously displayed their work on the airports.

In addition to the two main airports already previewed, the scenery will comprise a serie of 13 airfields scattered around the islands. Many are very short fields that are “embedded in dense tropical vegetation”. Judging by the screenshots, this is accurately rendered in the sim. The islands surrounding the airports will be modeled including atolls, lagoons, dense vegetation, rocks on the shorelines as well as the human dwellings found in the area.

Expected features

  • Photorealistic terrain mesh
  • Custom 3D vegetation
  • Custom autogen
  • Dynamic land and sea traffic
  • Hotels and resorts
  • Custom objects and buildings

Make sure to stay tuned on FSElite for further news regarding this promising Seychelles rendition. The previous previews can be found on Maps2XPlane development blog.
