FSElite’s live coverage of FlightSimExpo 2026 continues with AI-powered ATC tool SayIntentions.AI.
Brian, SayIntentions’ CEO, opened the presentation by highlighting three areas where the company believes it can improve immersion for flight simmers: The Radio, The Co-Pilot, and Training.
The Radio
Alongside Edson from Parallel 42, Brian announced a new spotting feature coming to SayIntentions.AI.
By pressing a customizable hotkey, pilots will be able to look at the aircraft transmitting on the frequency. The feature works thanks to a new integration between SayIntentions and Parallel 42’s ChasePlane.
The Co-Pilot
Continuing the run of new feature reveals, SayIntentions announced PlateBrief.
Instead of fumbling with an EFB, the AI co-pilot will be able to present specific charts to the pilot either on request or automatically. This works thanks to a partnership with Navigraph, which allows SayIntentions to interface with the Navigraph Charts app in MSFS.
Training
SayIntentions’ third and final feature reveal was Backtrack. The feature gives pilots the ability to “rewind” their flight to any point, any number of times. Whether it is an approach, a tricky climb-out, or a taxi at O’Hare, Backtrack rewinds both the simulator and ATC in tandem, giving pilots more flexibility in the simulator.
Closing Notes
Brian closed the presentation with a video highlight reel centered around how the platform brings the simulator to life, showcasing features such as Firefighting, Tour Operations, CPDLC, AI Copilot and Checklist Functionality, Ground Operations, Custom Checklists, and the PocketSky app.
Spotter will be available to all SayIntentions customers by the end of the month. PlateBrief and Backtrack are available now to Partner supporters on the platform, and they will be available to all subscribers in a few weeks.
