SayIntentions.AI has officially launched SkyNet Live Multiplayer for X-Plane, bringing its shared multiplayer environment to the platform for the first time. X-Plane pilots can now see and fly alongside other SayIntentions.AI users in real time, including those flying in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
The new feature creates a fully cross-platform environment, allowing pilots across supported simulators to share the same skies. According to SayIntentions.AI, the goal is to make airports feel busier, long-haul flights less isolated, and the overall flying experience more connected.
A key feature of the release is CSL (Common Shape Library) model matching, which enables multiplayer aircraft to appear with the correct aircraft types and liveries rather than generic placeholders. Users can configure the system using popular CSL packages such as Bluebell CSL or X-CSL.
To get started, users will need to update to SayIntentions.AI client version 4.1.1.4 or newer, enable SkyNet Multiplayer through the Pilot Portal, and configure their CSL library within X-Plane.
While SkyNet Live Multiplayer is now available, SayIntentions.AI clarified that this is not yet its planned AI traffic injection system for X-Plane. Instead, the company describes the release as the first step towards future traffic injection and full ATC sequencing capabilities on the platform.
How to Get Started
- Update your SayIntentions.AI client to the latest build (v4.1.1.4 or newer).
- Enable SkyNet Multiplayer:
Pilot Portal → Settings → Multiplayer - Install CSL packages (such as Bluebell CSL or X-CSL).
- Configure your CSL path:
X-Plane → Plugins → SayIntentions SkyNet → Add CSL Folder
Once configured, turn on your transponder, set TCAS to TA/RA, and join the shared sky.
