Developer SamScene3D has released Kunming Changshui International Airport, ICAO: ZPPP, for both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024.
Although it was only opened back in 2012, the airport is already one of the 50 busiest airports worldwide, serving almost 50 million passengers every year. It’s located in Kunming city, the capital of the Yunnan province, located in South-West China. The airport is a hub for China Eastern Airlines, Kunming Airlines, Lucky Air, Sichuan Airlines and Ruili Airlines, and it consists of two runways, measuring 3500 and 4000 meters in length.
SamScene3D’s rendition of the airport features a nice modelled terminal building and accurate ground markings on the aprons, taxiways and runways. Some buildings have low fidelity modelled interiors, to make it less taxing on performance. It also features custom jetway models and over 50 custom buildings in Kunming city itself.
