Following months of development work, Salty Simulations has released its onboard EFB tablet for its 747-8i mod for Microsoft Flight Simulator. It has been previewed multiple times throughout its development, but at long last, the team has made it publically available.
The new EFB comes equipped with a bunch of features, including Navigraph Charts integration, SimBrief connectivity, fuel and payload management tools, and also ground service controls. Furthermore, it allows you to get real-time weather information to help with your flight planning.
Along with the EFB, Salty has now updated the 747-8i to take full advantage of the avionics found in Aircraft and Avionics Update 2. This means your plane will now come with all the benefits that the update brought with it along with the enhancements provided by Salty Simulations.
