Yesterday the Cessna C510 Citation Mustang was made available for purchase via the X-Plane.org store.
The Cessna C510 Citation Mustang is classed as a very light corporate jet and is the competition to such jets as the Eclipse 500/550, the Embraer Phenom 100, the HondJet, and the Cirrus Vision SF50 alike. Launched in 2002, the Citation Mustang was a niche built aircraft for the traveling businessman. With a capacity of 2 pilots and only 4 passengers, this fully laden aircraft is able to endure for 1,167 nautical miles at 340 knots when at a cruising altitude of 41,000 feet. Armed with 2 Pratt & Whitney Canada PW615F turbofan engines, the Mustang at maximum takeoff weight (MTOW) utilizes only 3,110 feet of dry runway; landing requires only 2,380 feet. Interestingly, in 2010 Cessna launched an enhanced version of the aircraft named, “High Sierra,” which featured higher-quality cabin furnishings and enhanced avionics including the newly developed synthetic vision. The Cessna C510 Citation Mustang, as well as its successor the Mustang II (M2) are both certified for single-pilot operations and would set you back anywhere between $1.85-2.5 million (USD).
This aircraft ships with an Aircraft Operating Manual for real-world procedures and operation as well as a tutorial to get you in the air quickly.
Feature List:
