For over a year now, developer RPSimulations has been honing their skills to craft an EMB-312 Tucano for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The first previews were shared over on a Facebook developers group and then were forwarded to us via email.
The Embraer EMB-312 Tucano was first introduced in 1983 and developed specifically for various air forces around the world. A total of 624 were made during the course of its production cycle, before then developing into the Embraer EMB 314 Super Tucano. The EMB-312 sees primary usage in Brazil but is also flown by various air forces in Kuwait, Paraguay, Peru and Colombia.
The aircraft can cruise at over 270mph with a range of just over 1190 miles. It can carry 2 crew and has a maximum takeoff weight of 3,175kg.
At this stage, it appears to still be fairly early days for the development team, but the previews above demonstrate progress is going well so far. FSElite will keep you updated on future developments.
