Rotate has updated its MD-80 aircraft on X-Plane with new features and improvements for users of the aircraft.

A new auto land mode has been added, which includes the G/A mode and annunciators, along with a LAND test. Furthermore, there is now a MAP mode with terrain display on the WX instrument, along with compatibility with the default de-icing system found in X-Plane.

For those using X-Plane on Mac will be pleased to learn that Rotate has added compatibility with Apple Silicon architecture, which should results in improved performance in your simulator.

There are also a number of fixes, including tuned engine performance and aerodynamics, fixes to reduce CTD scenarios, along with some fine tuning to sound effects across the board. The full changelog is down below.

The MD-80 can be purchased from Aerosoft for €56,50 (excluding taxes). The update itself can be downloaded through the SkunkCrafts update tool, with the beta option selected.
