rkApps has announced FSRealistic+, a brand-new iteration of its popular immersion tool for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Unlike the current Pro edition, FSRealistic+ has been rebuilt from the ground up and will feature direct integration with Parallel 42’s ChasePlane.
FSRealistic+ introduces more than 30 new effects and around 120 redesigned sounds, all of which are tied directly to ChasePlane’s camera engine. This means camera motion, vibrations, and audio feedback are all synchronised to create a more cohesive experience. The goal is to make turbulence, landings, and even subtle cockpit vibrations feel more believable and consistent.
Among the new features, simmers can expect passenger reactions to turbulence and landings, pilot head anticipation during manoeuvres, and an improved in-sim interface for adjusting effects. There is also support for custom sound imports and profile sharing, giving users more control over how the tool behaves with different aircraft.
rkApps has confirmed that FSRealistic Pro will remain available as a standalone product, while FSRealistic+ will become the more advanced edition that requires ChasePlane. FSRealistic+ will be compatible with both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024, though its release is tied to when ChasePlane becomes available for the new simulator.
For existing Pro users, an upgrade discount will be offered, though no specific pricing details have been shared.
