RFSceneryBuilding Announces Trieste (LIPQ) Airport

In a brief Facebook statement, RFSceneryBuilding has announced they were working on a Trieste Friuli Venezia Giulia Airport (LIPQ) scenery. No screenshot nor further details have been shared so far by the developer. No time frame has been given either ; however considering the previous development cycles, Trieste (LIPQ) could be expected around mid-2020. It is also fair to assume the scenery will be developed for FSX and P3D ; however there has been no official confirmation on this matter.

RFSB has a long history of building Italian regional airports. The Trieste Airport is located very close to the border with Slovenia. It serves a greater region called the Friuli Venezia, that surrounds the Adriatic Sea. It handles about 770.000 passengers per year, making it a relatively small airport. It is currently served by Alitalia, Lufthansa, Ryanair and Volotea. The airport has a single east/west 3.000m / 10.000ft runway.

The previous RFSceneryBuilding airports can be found on Simmarket. They are all discounted by 20% until February 21st.
