In an announcement on their forums, REX Simulations has posted they are looking for a Product Support Specialist and a Social Media Specialist.
An ideal candidate for the position of Product Support Specialist will provide the highest quality service experience for REX’s customers. They will be responsible for representing REX as a customer -driven organization in every customer contact and will provide fast and accurate resolutions to the users of REX’s software.
The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for the oversight of all of REX’s social media channels and will drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and provide customer support. A full job specification list can be found below!

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provide front line and first level application support for end-users of REX software
- Use REX support tools to track and record customer incidents and resolutions
- Effectively work independently with little or no direct supervision
- Take ownership of individual customer issues to identify and drive situations to a win-win solution as quickly as possible; take ownership of all incidents and requests
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge level in REX software
- Ensure high standards of quality, stability, and consistency and adhere to end-user customer service standards
- Provide 1-on-1 support sessions via ZohoAssist on an as needed basis
- Ensure all content reflects brand style and tone through social media
- Manage day-to-day messaging/posts via Twitter and FB
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Knowledgeable about Windows Operating Systems. IT experience preferred
- Extensive working knowledge of FSX and Prepar3D
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- Extensive working knowledge of REX products
- Demonstrated proficiency with written, verbal, listening and analytical communication skills
- Driven to provide accurate and timely customer resolutions
- Extremely high organizational skills
- Ability to empathize with the customer situation or event
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, including FB and Twitter
Qualifications/Requirements for the Position:
- High school degree required
- Minimum 1 year at College or University with business and marketing emphasis
- Must have a customer service background
- Must have excellent computer skills
- Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
- Must have an excellent work ethic and attitude
- Must have excellent communication skills, and able to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and written
- Must be able to work with little direction, and be able to complete projects under strict deadlines
