The charming and small regional airport on the island of Guernsey (ICAO: EGJB) has arrived in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 with RealVFR’s latest release.
Having previously released the Isles of Scilly and Bolt Head Airfield, the team have ventured into a slightly larger airfield, this time targeting Guernsey, home to Aurigny Airlines and Blue Islands, as well as being a hub for a number of general aviation pilots who come to visit the beautiful Channel Islands.
With a 1,463m long runway and instrument approaches, the airport is a unique and often challenging destination for pilots, but the views across the island make it all worthwhile. RealVFR’s scenery comes with accurate terrain elevation, custom night lighting, a modelled air traffic control tower interior and high-quality PBR textures across buildings, surfaces, and other objects.
Designed specifically for MSFS 2024, the team say the product is designed specifically for the sim by ‘leveraging the latest technologies including enhanced height maps and the updated lighting system.’
You can purchase a copy of Guernsey Airport for MSFS2024 from the RealVFR website for £15.
