RealTurb Introduces Thermal Effects

RealTurb is a product that adds realistic turbulence to your flights within P3D and impacts the handling of your aircraft accordingly to variations such as wind and terrain. In the future, as announced by RealTurb on Facebook, the product will take into account temperature.

In a free update, to be released “next week”, thermal simulation will be added to enhance the realism. The product will undertake thermal analysis and will measure elements such as temperature, wind type, distance from ground and more to create effects to your aircraft. The preview video above demonstrates this at Larnaca airport in 40c heat. Whilst you still don’t need HiFi Sim Tech’ Active Sky, it is still highly recommended to be used in addition to RealTurb by the developer.

The free update will be introduced to all previously released RealTurb products next week.
