After releasing Rotterdam Airport late into 2021, the RDPresets team has spent the past few months completely rebuilding the airport product. In light of feedback from the community after its release, the team decided it was better to rebuild the airport from scratch improving almost every aspect of the product.
In the latest Facebook post from the team, the all-new V2 of the airport is soon to enter beta testing for all platforms. This includes Prepar3D v4/v5, X-Plane 11 and of course, Microsoft Flight Simulator. To celebrate the milestone, the team at RDPresets shared a quick preview of the new version in MSFS.
Rotterdam The Hague Airport serves the two Dutch cities of Rotterdam and The Hague. The airport is a focus airport for Transavia as well as TUI Fly Netherlands, and served over 2 million passengers in 2019. Especially through Transavia, but also through other operators, the airport has a lot of (seasonal) connections to the rest of Europe.
It’s important to note that all customers who own version 1 of Rotterdam from RDPresets will be able to get the v2 version completely free of charge. No release date has been mentioned at this time, but we’ll be keeping a close eye on it.
