RDPresets has announced that their Rotterdam The Hague Airport (EHRD), which has been in development for over 1,5 years, will finally release next week. The initial release will be for X-Plane 11 and Prepar3D, with a MSFS version to follow at a later date.
Rotterdam The Hague Airport serves the two Dutch cities of Rotterdam and The Hague. The airport is a focus airport for Transavia as well as TUI Fly Netherlands, and served over 2 million passengers in 2019. Especially through Transavia, but also through other operators, the airport has a lot of (seasonal) connections to the rest of Europe.
The team has announced several features to be included in their upcoming scenery. Not only the airport itself will be included, but the scenery will also include the surrounding area with several cities in it. Furthermore, PBR textures and high quality ortho will be used, and there will be a configurator for static objects. All this has been created with the latest development techniques to assure the performance at this densely populated part of the country will be optimised.
