After confirming that Rotterdam The Hague Airport would be released this week, RDPresets followed through on that promise and delivered both the Prepar3D and X-Plane versions for the community. Following a lengthy 1.5-year development cycle, the Dutch airport is now ready to buy for both simulation platforms.
Rotterdam The Hague Airport (EHRD) serves the two Dutch cities of Rotterdam and The Hague. The airport is a focus airport for Transavia as well as TUI Fly Netherlands, and served over 2 million passengers in 2019. Especially through Transavia, but also through other operators, the airport has a lot of (seasonal) connections to the rest of Europe.
RDPresets has included a number of features across the board for both versions of the airport. This includes a complete rendition of the airport and the city of Rotterdam, along with high-quality ortho scenery surrounding the airport. In addition, there are a number of 3D objects, which feature high resolution texturing. Custom ground poly help to depict the accurate taxiway information, along with the latest details for the parking stands. Finally, a custom configurator for in-sim static objects gives you the ability to change some options.
Rotterdam The Hague Airport is available on both Prepar3D and X-Plane 11 and are both priced individually at €18.99 each. A Microsoft Flight Simulator version of the airport is also in the works and is due to release soon.
