RDPresets Announces LXGB – Gibraltar Airport

RDPresets has announced their next airport: LXGB – Gibraltar. The team made the announcement earlier today on Facebook, and a release date has already been set: in just three days from now, on February 25.

Gibraltar International Airport serves the British oversees territory of Gibraltar. The airport has an approach famous for its tricky weather conditions with strong crosswinds. The airport also has a road that intersects the runway and needs to be closed every time when a plane lands or departs. Gibraltar is regularly served by British Airways and easyJet.

RDPresets rendition of Gibraltar Intl. Airport will feature highly detailed buildings, interior complete with 3D people and sharp and detailed textures. The team has also included a functional car crossing that will automatically open and close based on aircraft activity. The previews that were shared with the announcement indeed seem to show as much, with a detailed terminal building with interior. It also seems like the surrounding area has gotten a lot of attention. All this has been done while keeping performance in mind, according to the team.
