The CowanSim R66 will soon be getting a new sound package thanks to Immersive Audio as they are soon to release its R66 Sound Immersion NG. The new sound package marks the first time Immersive Audio has entered the realms of Microsoft Flight Simulator and we have a new trailer demonstrating it.
Throughout the video, we see take-off, low fly-by, approach and shutdown procedures all from various camera angles. You can watch it now in the video above.
According to the developer, the team has recreated a detailed new sound pack for the civilian helicopter using audio from the real helicopter. The sounds were captured from 96khz, 24bit recordings to make sure that the sounds are as immersive as possible.
