Developer Pyreegue has announced that their upcoming release of Glasgow Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator is due to release very soon. How soon? Well, the developer said that providing testing goes well, it could be out later this week.
In a new forum post by the development team, they gave many new details on what to expect as well as a huge number of previews.
Glasgow Airport follows on from Pyreegue’s other Scottish airport, Edinburgh, and comes with an extensive number of features. As with other releases from Pyreegue, the team has modelled the whole interior of the terminal, including various airline lounges, along with animated jetways, custom ground textures and night lighting. For those looking at the extra details in the scenery, it has been confirmed that the airport will come with rain effects on windows, an animated radar, and static aircraft (optional) throughout.
Whilst the main airport has been modelled, there has also been considerable detail in other areas, too. This includes the airport’s heliport and also the fire training centre.
Once the airport has been released, the team promises that updates will come which will include a VDGS. This has been built in-house and will be deployed once it is ready.
For now, enjoy the new previews. Once the product has been released, we’ll let you know.
