Scenery developer Pyreegue has released the European edition of the vehicle replacement add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
The product replaces vehicles that come from the default MSFS library. Airports or scenery packages that include their own custom vehicle models will continue to use those and won’t be affected.
With more than 40 unique models, the traffic add-on uses high-resolution textures across all models, with an optional of a lower quality 2K version available for those who want to reduce VRAM usage. Additionally, the use of LOD switching prevents the rendering of higher-detail models for too long, which results in a performance boost.
Both traffic on motorways and vehicles operating within airfields themselves have been included, allowing users to enjoy a more authentic experience when exploring Europe within the simulator. What’s more, the vehicles even come with region-accurate European license plates, giving airports and road traffic a more authentic local feel.
