Back in January 2024, Pyreegue Dev Co teased a few images of a new airport in development by themselves. Speculation was rife at the time what the new airport could be, but the team finally confirmed their next airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
As we correctly worked out (props to Matthew on our team), it will be Birmingham International Airport (EGBB). It serves the city of Birmingham and the surrounding West Midlands region, with flights from the likes of easyJet, Ryanair, TUI, and many others.
Sadly, it will be a while until we see it in our simulators as Pyreegue Dev Co. said that it won’t be available until 2025 at the earliest.
For now we leave you with the teaser images shared by the team a few months ago. If you want to see what quality to expect, check out their Edinburgh Airport v2 for the simulator. It’s also now available through the in-sim Marketplace.
