Scenery developer Pyreegue has announced and previewed Kyiv Boryspil Airport (UKBB) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Kyiv Boryspil Airport comes from the same team that brought Tivat Airport to Microsoft Flight Simulator last year.
The Ukrainian airport, situated in Kyiv is a primary hub for SkyUp and Ukraine International Airlines. The two runways, measuring up to 13, 123ft in length can handle a range of aircraft sizes. The airport offers a wide range of destinations such as Spain, France and Portugal within Europe, along with long-haul routes to the US, India, UAE and Canada.
When speaking to the developer, they confirmed to us that the airport will come with high-quality textures for all models, custom ground polygons and over 100 custom-made objects to help bring the airport to life. This also includes surrounding buildings such as the Episentr Mall, Boryspil Hotel and also the Ukraerorukh Building. For those looking for a bit more detail will be pleased to hear that Terminals D and F will also come complete with a full interior modelled and textured. Custom night lighting, animated vehicles, PBR texturing and accurate runway slope information completes the feature list given to us by the developers.
Whilst no specific dates were mentioned, Pyreegue has confirmed that the airport will release either at the end of this month or early February. We’ll keep you informed of a release.
