The international airport Lithuania’s second city, Kaunas, will come to life in Microsoft Flight Simulator once again, with Propair Flight revealing its release date as June 21 2024.
Accompanied by an impressive preview video by industry stalwart AviationLads, the team at Propair Flight have dropped a few teaser images ahead of its release. The team say they have focussed their efforts on the terminal, saying they have paid “meticulous attention to detail in recreating the departure and arrival processes for an authentic experience.”
Additionally, they add that performance has been a key focus of theirs, stating “with our brand-new airport release expect smooth performance, fantastic graphics, and a level of realism that will truly immerse you.”
The airport, which welcomes low-cost carriers such as Ryanair and Wizz, is also home to a number of engineering and maintenance facilities and the trailer video depicts these in great detail.
The scenery for Kaunas Airport (ICAO: EYKA), is the latest in a few months after MXI Designs released its version of the airport earlier this year. The airport in real life stands as Lithuania’s second busiest civil airport, trailing behind Vilnius Airport, and ranks as the fourth-busiest in the Baltic states.
