Known for their Shark 600 single-engine piston aircraft and collection of medium-sized airport sceneries, the team at Propair Flight has released their latest scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) 2020 and 2024. Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (KBJC) in Colorado is conveniently located near the urban centers of Denver and Boulder, along the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. KBJC is the closest airport to Downtown Denver, and accordingly, the airport acts as a gateway for business and general aviation pilots. The airport is the third busiest airport in Colorado in terms of takeoffs and landings, 95% of which are General Aviation flights.
Propair Flight’s recreation of KBJC includes realistic runway textures and dynamic night lighting. The airport is populated with custom-built 3D models, including on-airport businesses and maintenance facilities, flight schools, and corporate hangars, as well as the airport’s two FBOs, Signature Aviation and Sheltair, the latter facility only recently opening at KBJC in April 2024. Propair Flight has also recreated the passenger terminal and viewing area popular among local aviation enthusiasts. KBJC receives passenger service from public charter operator, JSX, with regular and seasonal service to Burbank, Phoenix (Scottsdale), Dallas (Love), and Las Vegas. The developer has also modeled the 118,000-square-foot Pilatus Business Aircraft’s completion facility, located on the southwest side of the airport.
