A new “micro update” was released for the PMDG 777-300ER for MSFS by the team that addresses a few issues that popped up soon after the product was released a few days ago.
Robert Randazzo took to the forums to say that this is the first of many updates over the next few weeks as they look at addressing bugs and community feedback on the 777-300ER. On the forums, he said, “we anticipate a series of updates over the next 14 days- all of which are focused mostly on issues that disrupt the user experience. The model/art/sound teams will also be at work so you will see other items rolling in with the updates- but the code team is focused on disruptive problems.”
The changelog down below gives you an idea of what has changed with the new update. However, to summarise, the update is primarily designed to help protect against the product from ‘freezing’ when in use. There have been some refinements to the virtual cockpit, improvements to the external model, and also changes with the ACARS/Datalink.
