At long last, we now know that the release date for the PMDG 737 for MSFS will be Monday, May 9th 2022.
The release date was revealed in a short video posted on the PMDG YouTube channel.
The release date was decided on by the team earlier in the week following an all-hands meeting. This meeting saw the team cross off the final blocker to enable the team to feel confident in releasing the 737 for MSFS to the public.
Sadly, no pricing information was revealed at this time. This does contradict what was said last November by Robert when he told a forum user Alaa R that PMDG would “announce pricing information when we also announce the release day.” It’s still worth mentioning that the $99.99 store credit that those who purchased the NGXu has now been added ahead of the release.

Despite the lack of pricing information, having a confirmed release date that is just around the corner will certainly lift spirits for those waiting on the PMDG 737 for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
As a reminder for those who may be unaware, the PMDG 737 for Microsoft Flight Simulator will first see the release of the 737-700 model. This model will include cargo variations, BBJ variations and the passenger version. 6 weeks or so afterwards, the 737-600 will be released, followed by the 737-800 around 6 weeks after that. The 737-900 will be the final version of the NG series to be released before focus is then turned onto the 777 and the 747 for MSFS. The MAX versions of the 737 are also planned for the future.
We’ll be following things carefully to ensure you are in the know when the Boeing jet is finally released after 30+ months of development.
