PMDG has released the 777-200ER for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
The Boeing 777-200ER was introduced in the late 1990s as a development of the original 777-200. The 200ER variant offers increased range and maximum takeoff weight, making it a popular choice among global carriers for transoceanic routes. It’s still a hugely popular aircraft amongst many airlines today, operating a variety of routes around the world.
The new release from PMDG includes the complete 777-200ER line, with all three engine types modelled. Those three engines are: Rolls-Royce Trent 800, General Electric GE90, and Pratt & Whitney PW4000. This includes specific engine performance, engine sounds, and modelling. Further to the engine types modelled, the specific wing found on the 777-200ER is also modelled, marking a major difference between this airframe and the 777-300ER/777F previously released.

You will also find a full EFB, multiple systems modelled to a high level of fidelity, and a vast number of liveries. PMDG has said that the entire sound suite has been re-developed following feedback from the 777-300ER release, and has stated that future updates will include even more refined sounds for the engines themselves.
You can buy it from the PMDG store for $77.72 USD. The purchase includes versions of the plane for both simulators and is installed via the new Operations Centre.
Editor’s Note: Soon after publishing this, PMDG removed it from sale. It’s unclear why, but PMDG confirmed the release via its social media.
Update 2: Now out out.
