PMDG Releases 10th Update to 737 Product Line

This week, PMDG released the latest series of updates to the 737 Product Line for Microsoft Flight Simulator. As usual, Robert Randazzo took to the PMDG Forums to detail the changes being made in this release and also to set the stage for upcoming testing as Sim Update 11 approaches. A fact is that this is PMDG’s 10th release to the 737 Product Line, resulting in an update on average every 18 days since May!

These latest updates pushed out to users focuses on control law and the improvement of overall stability of the 737 in the evolving MSFS environment. While a bit easier in P3D, accomplishing a fully realistic model of fluidity, stability and instability in an atmospheric model is much more difficult within the extremely dynamic world of MSFS. Randazzo goes on to say, “it has taken some time- but we have made significant progress with it lately- and this update brings us much closer to where we want the package to be.” With the -900 entering testing most likely a week from today, this is very positive news.

One piece of news many users remain excited about is the implementation of an EFB tablet. Randazzo mentioned that progress continues to be made and the tablet enters testing this week.

All eyes at PMDG are currently set on the Sim Update 11 release timeline. Rest assured that the team will be standing by to dive into any emergency fixes that may appear once the final SU11 release is distributed.
