PMDG Provides Update on Pending Projects

On the heels of FSExpo, Robert Randazzo (PMDG CEO) published an update on their forum regarding the team’s projects.

777 Update Delays

The team had planned on releasing a number of updates to the 777 lineup in the days prior to FSExpo, but due to the unexpected workload involved in preparing for the conference, these updates were held off until the team was all back at home.

MS Marketplace 2020:

PMDG is anticipating Microsoft will release updates via marketplace next week for the 777-300ER and -F, which include “numerous cleanup fixes across both aircraft.” They also anticipate release of the 777-200ER, also at Build 116, via marketplace for both PC and Xbox

MS Marketplace 2024

PMDG anticipates that Microsoft will release the -300ER and 777F into the marketplace in the next week (Starting 19th July).

Those who have purchased the 300ER and 777F via marketplace for 2020 will see the 2024 versions available at no cost.

Launch of the 777-200ER on marketplace has been pushed back at least another week or two due to marketplace integration problems when attempting to connect the 2024 version to the 2020 version- which would enable existing 2020 customers to receive the 2024 200ER for free.

777-200ER, 300ER, and 777F Updates:

PMDG.com customers will receive an update to Build 116 in the next week or so.

PMDGT 777-200LR:

Given the business of FSExpo, Release may be pushed back another week from the originally scheduled date of 15th July 2025.

Initially, the 200LR will be available on PMDG.com, with a marketplace launch coming in the following weeks thereafter.

FSExpo 2025

Robert took some time to thank everyone who attended the Expo and stopped by to meet the team while providing a list of FAQ’s (included below):

• When will 737NG appear in MS 2024? (answer: ASAP)
• When will 737Max appear in PMDG colors? (answer: <silent nod and smile:)
• When will 747 release? (answer: a bit of wild conjecture that was largely, intentionally unhelpful)
• When will PMDG do a 787? (answer: another silent nod and a smile)
