PMDG has issued another update for their hugely popular Boeing 777-300ER. Details of the update were shared by Robert Randazzo over on the PMDG forums.
According to Robert, this week’s update (2.00.0037) aims to fix some of the issues that users have been reporting since the aircraft’s release, just a few weeks ago. Particularly the “freeze” problem has been investigated by PMDG, and this update aims to resolve the causes of those.
The update also contains some changes to the sounds. PMDG has issued several sound adjustments in this update, with some of the sounds being made louder and others softer. The full changelog of the update can be found at the end of this post. PMDG’s 777-300ER update is available through the PMDG Ops Center.
737 and DC-6 Cloudmaster
While PMDG’s main focus has been the 777, they have not forgotten about other products in their line-up. The developer will soon start testing an update for the 737 with fixes for issues that started appearing after Sim Update 15. If all goes to plan, these fixes could hopefully be available for the general audience in next week’s update.
The DC-6 Cloudmaster seems to have long been forgotten, but Robert did in fact share that PMDG is planning a small update for the aircraft. The update is supposed to improve texture clarity on the gauges, dials and placards that can be found in the cockpit.
