PMDG has released a free update for its beloved DC-6 Cloudmaster, bringing compatibility to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
The update focuses on ensuring the classic airliner operates correctly in MSFS 2024, with PMDG adapting the aircraft’s LOD models and making a handful of technical adjustments to maintain stability on the newer platform. No new features have been added as part of the release.
Existing customers who purchased the aircraft through PMDG can download the update now via PMDG Operations Center 3.0. New customers will receive access to both the MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 versions with their purchase.
PMDG also confirmed that the updated DC-6 will be submitted to the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace, with availability on PC and Xbox expected within the next 10 to 14 days. If you purchase the plane now, you will get access to both the MSFS 2020 and the MSFS 2024 versions.
