PMDG’s Robert Randazzo has taken to their forums to share some news surrounding a few different PMDG-related items. This includes news on the 777-300ER coming to Marketplace later today, the first look at the 777F, and PMDG’s birthday sale.
777-300ER Launching in Marketplace Today
Robert kicked off the forum post with confirmation that the PMDG 777-300ER will come to the in-sim Marketplace later today for both PC and Xbox. In terms of liveries, PMDG were informed they may not come out until next week, but Microsoft is working on trying to get them out today.
In terms of pricing for the liveries, PMDG said that they are “working with Microsoft on some special pricing for the liveries release”. They added, “if we succeed in putting that together- you’ll be able to scoop them up for a song.”
PMDG 777F Entering Beta Testing Soon
PMDG said that the 777F is nearing the end of development and is preparing to enter the plane for beta testing. They said that the aircraft is “a feature-rich simulation experience for one of the worlds most capable freight haulers.” When PMDG last spoke on the 777F, they said they anticipated it would be a “pretty quick process”.
PMDG 737 Update
A new update for the PMDG 737 series of planes is on the way to address some more of the ‘freeze’ issues reported over time from the community. However, once the 777F goes into beta testing, there will be further updates for the 737 Series. This includes new navdata functionality and also updates to the tablet. Robert mentioned that September could be a likely release for the navdata update, with the tablet stuff following after. Instead of a ‘grand update’, expect changes to roll out steadily as they’re ready.
Once all this has been rolled out, the PMDG 737 series will no longer be considered ‘early access’ and the price will increase.
PMDG 27th Birthday and Sale
To celebrate the 27th birthday of PMDG, they are throwing a limited-time sale on most of its product range. Everything except the 777-300ER for MSFS will see a discount of 27% applied between Friday 9th August and Sunday 11th August 2024.

Finally, Robert said that in the new screenshot of the PMDG 777F (above), you “might just see something you didn’t expect to see about a project you didn’t know anything about.”
