PMDG has just released the latest expansion for its Boeing 737 NGXu line up of aircraft. The cargo variant brings a new element to flying a 737 than just flying passengers. As the name of the package suggests, this adds the freighter variants to the base NGXu package.
The 737 freighter is a modified passenger 737 to carry cargo. At the moment, Boeing offers makes these changes to the -800 only, with another company able to convert the -700 and -800 into a freighter. Both of these variants are modeled and included in this package. As stated late last month, this package will contain the -700 BDSF, -800 BDSF, and -800 BCF. The -700 comes with the blended winglets, while both the -800 BDSF and BCF come with blended and split winglets. Alongside the different aircraft variants, the Cargo Expansion features cargo-specific ground equipment and operating features. All the associated functions in the EFB are also included. The PMDG 737 NGXu Cargo Expansion is available from PMDG’s store for $29.99 USD for Prepar3D v4.4+ and v5. Since PMDG was planning to release this during the sale but missed it, the team is offering $5 off the expansion till 2359 EDT on the 22nd. This expansion also only requires the NGXu Base Package to work.
