The airport is served by many different airlines with over 34 destinations in 13 countries, the airport also has a large cargo hub. The longest route to and from Medellín is Madrid, at 3,099 miles non-stop operated by an Air Europa 787. In 2021 the airport saw 7.9 million passengers through its doors.
