PILOT’S weather engine, FS Global Real Weather (FSGRW) has a brand new update available and includes a bunch of nice new features for users. The primary new feature is the integration with Maxx XP in collaboration with Sundog Software.
This integration of the two products will mean users will experience a wide range of cloud variety in their sim. For example, FSGRW will pull the data from their servers, feed it to an installed copy of the upcoming Maxx XP SkyMaxx Pro v4.7, and inject accurate cloud types and textures into X-Plane 11. This means your copy of FSGWR (64-bit edition) can inject cloud identifiers such as Cumulus, Cirrocumlus and Stratocumulus into the sim for a realistic appearance in the sim regardless of your flying preference. The power of FS Global Real Weather means you will also have realistic winds, temperatures, precipitation and other accurate weather phenomenons injected into the sim.
FS Global Real Weather (64-bit edition) is compatible for both Prepar3D V4 and X-Plane.
Further to the X-Plane version being enhanced, the new version of FSGRW also now supports version 4.4 of Prepar3D, displays temperatures in the weather review panel in both Celsius and Fahrenheit.
All of these updates are available free of charge to current owners of the FS Global Real World Weather. You can download the update either through the auto-updater tool or via the website.
If you are keen to buy the product, you can do so via PILOT’S store for 39.99 Euros.
