Paris-Charles de Gaulle (LFPG) is one of those airports for flight simulation that has never received the love it deserves. Whilst there is a hand-crafted version already for Microsoft Flight Simulator, there isn’t a more detailed and current rendition of the airport. Developers have hinted in the past at working on it, but nothing has ever come of it, that is, until perhaps now.
Developer Pilot Experience Sim, known for their French airports in the past, has confirmed on social media they are working on Paris-Charles de Gaulle. On their social media account, they said “This is where is starts…” and shared a video of the airport.
Further in the comments, the team expressed that they are now aware of any other developer “serious[ly] working on it.” They acknowledged the huge challenge ahead of them, but seem confident that they will be able to deliver a rendition of the airport for the flight simulation community.
Time will tell if this project proceeds with success and how long it will take to see in-sim previews of this colossal project. As usual, though, we will keep you posted with any progress from Pilot Experience Sim on their Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
