Over on the Aerosoft forum, it has been announced that Aerosoft’s Maastricht-Aachen Airport (EHBK) version 2 update is currently in beta along with some previews.
Maastricht-Aachen is a small, regional airport located in the Netherlands. It is the second largest hub for cargo flights in the Netherlands. Its two main passenger airlines are Ryanair and Corendon Dutch Airlines meaning there are a handful of routes to plan in and out of EHBK. In addition to the passenger airlines, many major cargo airlines operate out of EHBK such as Turkish Airlines Cargo and Emirates SkyCargo.
The focus feature to come for most will be PBR texturing for Prepar3D v4.4 which is previewed in the screenshots below. Other features include higher resolution satellite ortho, new rain and precipitation effects and more which can be found in the changelog at the end of this article.
This will be a free update for current owners of the Prepar3D v4 version of Maastricht-Aachen. If you don’t already own it, you can grab a hold of it on simMarket for a price of €12.56 (Excl. VAT). It is only compatible with Prepar3D v4. Once updated, this scenery will only be compatible with Prepar3D v4.4.
We will endeavour to let you know once the version 2 update of this scenery has been released.
